FREDERICKSBURG - Today, Congressman Rob Wittman (VA-01) had the latest stop of his “Breakfast With Rob” series at the Paradise Diner in Fredericksburg, Virginia. He kicked off the series in June in Tappahannock and in the months following, he stopped in Kilmarnock, Ashland, and Dumfries. He will continue stopping into local favorite breakfast spots across the First District to talk with folks about the issues that matter most to them.
“This morning I had a great time talking with folks at the Paradise Diner,” said Wittman. “I’m working hard on the issues that matter most to Virginians: expanding access to rural broadband, fixing our broken infrastructure, protecting the benefits of our veterans, lowering health care costs, and advocating for our men and women in uniform. I believe the best ideas don’t come from Washington, but from my constituents. This is just another way for me to connect with constituents and hear their thoughts and ideas on how to make Washington work better for them.”
At today’s stop-in, Congressman Wittman talked to constituents about his latest Veteran’s forum, his work to expand access to high speed internet, and ways he is navigating the current partisan environment in Washington. Constituents can stay up to date for when Congressman Wittman will be in their area by signing up for his email list at www.wittman.house.gov.
Congressman Rob Wittman represents the 1st District of Virginia. He serves on the House Natural Resources Committee and the House Armed Services Committee, where he serves as the ranking member of the Seapower and Projection Forces Subcommittee.
