    This week I attended a Veterans Pinning Ceremony held at the Commonwealth Senior Living at Farnham (CSL) in Richmond County, where I was able to publicly acknowledge the service and sacrifice of several local Veterans. CSL just received its charter as a new American Legion Post. I also met with the Potomac Chapter of the Military Officers Association or America (MOAA) in Colonial Beach.     WASHINGTON – Congressman Rob Wittman (VA-01) today applauded House passage of S. 114, legislation authorizing $2 billion in funding for the Veterans Choice Program, which allows certain veterans to seek medical care outside of the VA system.     WASHINGTON – Legislation backed by Congressman Rob Wittman (VA-01) today had a hearing before the House Veterans Affairs Subcommittee on Economic Opportunity. The legislation, called the Military Residency Choice Act, is aimed at easing the tax burden on military families by allowing them to establish one consistent state of residency.     WASHINGTON - Congressman Rob Wittman (VA-01), chairman of the House Armed Services Subcommittee on Seapower and Projection Forces, today supported House passage of H.R. 1301, the Department of Defense Appropriations Act for Fiscal Year 2017.
