Breakfast With Rob: Kilmarnock

KILMARNOCK – Today, Congressman Rob Wittman (VA-01) had the latest stop of his “Breakfast With Rob” series at Lee's Restaurant in Kilmarnock, Virginia. He kicked off the series last month in Tappahannock and will continue stopping into local favorite breakfast spots across the First District to talk with folks about the issues that matter most to them.

“This morning I had a great time talking with folks at Lee’s,” said Wittman. “I’m working hard on the issues that matter most to Virginians: expanding access to rural broadband, fixing our broken infrastructure, protecting the benefits of our veterans, lowering health care costs, and advocating for our men and women in uniform. I believe the best ideas don’t come from Washington, but from my constituents. This is just another way for me to connect with constituents and hear their thoughts and ideas on how to make Washington work better for them.”

At today’s stop-in, Congressman Wittman talked to constituents about the need to adopt a budget, staying in Washington for August to complete the work of the people, and expanding access to broadband in rural areas. Constituents can stay up to date for when Congressman Wittman will be in their area by signing up for his email list at www.wittman.house.gov.
