Whether you have a student looking for an internship opportunity or to apply to a military academy, or if you have a veteran you’d like to honor by flying a flag over the U.S. Capitol, I hope we can be of service.
Help with a Federal Agency
Do you have questions about your Social Security benefits, a federal loan program, or other federal agency issue? District offices, located in Stafford, Tappahannock, and Yorktown, are equipped to help individuals who need assistance with a problem related to a federal agency.
Grants and Federal Domestic Assistance
There are many groups or organizations that are eligible to apply for government grants. Contact the office to learn more.
Financial Aid for Students
The U.S. Department of Education provides students and graduates with financial assistance information. The office can guide you through the process.
Military Service Academy Nominations
Each year, Members of Congress nominate a limited number of applicants to U.S. Military Service Academies. Students can contact the office or visit the website for more information on obtaining a nomination to the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Merchant Marine academies or on the admission process for the Coast Guard Academy.

U.S. Flag Requests
Did you know you can request a flag flown over the U.S. Capitol in honor or memory of a person or special occasion? U.S. flags may be purchased through the Washington, D.C. office.
