Wittman Hosts Tax Roundtable with Yorktown Chamber of Commerce

WASHINGTON – U.S. Representative Rob Wittman (VA-01) hosted a roundtable with the Yorktown Chamber of Commerce. The roundtable brought together local business owners to discuss their experiences and the impact tax reform will have on their businesses. The discussion focused specifically on the pro-growth provisions in H.R. 1, signed into law on July 4th, which are vital to maintaining America’s prosperity and creating new opportunities for workers and businesses.

“Recently, I voted for H.R.1, legislation that provides small businesses across the Commonwealth with historic tax relief and tax certainty, allowing them to grow, create jobs, and have a lasting impact on local communities,” said Rep. Wittman. “I was proud to join the Yorktown Chamber of Commerce in hosting this roundtable, during which we discussed the ways that I am working in Washington to support small businesses – including those in Yorktown – and ensure they will continue to thrive.”
