Vows to Continue Top-Tier Constituent Services and Deliver Results

WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Rob Wittman (VA-01) released the following statement after officially being sworn into the 119th Congress:

“I could not be more proud to be sworn in to the 119th Congress and continue serving the people of Virginia’s Northern Neck, Middle Peninsula, Historic Triangle, and the Richmond suburbs. I grew up in Henrico County and have called the Northern Neck home for 40 years now – representing my community remains a great privilege.

“This Congress, I stand ready to continue my work to lower the cost of living, enhance public safety, and set our children up for success. I look forward to advancing comprehensive legislation to ensure government accountability, support our veterans, expand access to affordable higher education and technical training, and conserve our precious natural resources.

“With unified Republican leadership, we have an opportunity to work seamlessly with our colleagues in the White House and the Senate to revitalize our economy, secure our border, and rebuild America’s standing on the world stage – all of which were weakened under the failed policies of the Biden-Harris administration. But regardless of which party is in power, I will continue my strong record of bipartisanship in order to deliver real results for my constituents. I will always put my district’s interests first while continuing to provide top-tier constituent services. The people of Virginia’s First District deserve nothing less.”
