WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Rob Wittman (VA-01), member of the Congressional Coalition on Adoption, announced Henrico resident Autumn Zaborowski as the 2024 Angel in Adoption honoree from the Commonwealth of Virginia.
“Every child deserves a loving family where they can grow to reach their full potential,” said Rep. Wittman. “Adoptive families face unique challenges and are in turn rewarded with unique blessings and the satisfaction of having said ‘yes’ when others said ‘no.’ I was honored to nominate Autumn Zaborowski to represent Virginia as our Angel in Adoption. In addition to being an adoptive mom of two boys, Autumn has worked tirelessly to advocate on behalf of adoptive and foster families throughout Henrico County and the entire Commonwealth.”
“As a child of adoption myself, I am eternally grateful for the incredible work and dedication of individuals like Autumn Zaborowski,” Wittman continued. “Through Autumn’s work with Adoption-Share and her local church’s adoption and foster care support group, she has worked to build relationships between the local Department of Social Services and the faith community, helping to better the lives of countless adoptive and foster children in our area.”
