Representative Rob Wittman (VA-1) invites all high school and middle school students, their parents and guidance counselors to a U.S. Service Academy Day in Fredericksburg, Virginia, on September 21, 2013.
Attendees will be provided a comprehensive overview of the U.S. Service Academies and their admissions process. In addition, students and parents will be able to meet with officials from West Point, the Naval Academy, the Air Force Academy and the Merchant Marine Academy.

As the First District Representative in the U.S. House, each year Wittman may nominate a limited number of people to four of the five service academies. The honor of attending a service academy comes with an obligation and commitment to serve in the military for a minimum of five years upon graduation.
