Wittman Participates in AutoZone Groundbreaking Ceremony in New Kent County

NEW KENT COUNTY – Today, Congressman Rob Wittman (VA-01) joined Governor Glenn Youngkin and other community and Virginia leaders at AutoZone’s groundbreaking ceremony in New Kent County, Virginia. AutoZone, Inc. will be investing $185.2 million in this new warehouse, which will be their largest distribution center on the East Coast. This investment in New Kent County will create 352 new jobs.  

“Today’s groundbreaking ceremony is a huge win for Virginia, and specifically Virginia’s First District,” said Congressman Wittman. “AutoZone’s, new distribution center will contribute enormous investments into Virginia’s infrastructure and transportation industry, as well as add hundreds of jobs for hardworking Virginians. I was honored to participate in today’s groundbreaking ceremony and discuss the positive impacts this investment will have on Virginia. I am grateful for the leadership of everyone who made today possible. I look forward to our continued work to bring business, jobs, and investments to the Commonwealth of Virginia.”
