Washington, D.C.,
October 6, 2011
Washington, D.C. – Congressman Rob Wittman (VA-1) today announced a federal health benefits fair for active and retired federal employees, in conjunction with the Office of Personnel Management on October 18, 2011. The event will be held in Fredericksburg at the Crossings at Falls Run from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Wittman is hosting the fair to assist constituents in advance of the annual federal benefits open season. The 2011 Open Season (for the 2012 plan year) runs from Monday, November 14, through Monday, December 12, 2011. “Health insurance and benefits are often complicated, making it difficult to understand what choices are best for you and your family,” Wittman said. “I am pleased to partner with these organizations to help folks as open season approaches.”
Congressman Rob Wittman represents the First District of Virginia. He serves on the House Natural Resources Committee and the House Armed Services Committee where he is the Chairman of the Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee. ###
