April 28, 2010: Congressman Wittman to Host Women’s Forum

Washington, DC On April 30, 2010, Congressman Rob Wittman will host a Women’s Forum in Williamsburg to discuss issues impacting women in Virginia’s First Congressional District.  The Honorable Kay Coles James will co-moderate a panel discussion with Congressman Wittman.  Each panelist will focus on a different topic as outlined below.

 

Education-- Sissy Crowther, President, Rappahannock Community College

Business-- Ann Heidig, President, Lake Anna Winery and President, VA Wine Association

Faith Based Issues-- Rev. Torrance Harmon, Trinity Episcopal Church

Policy-- Sheila Noll, York County Board of Supervisors

Environment-- Christy Everett, Hampton Roads Director, Chesapeake Bay Foundation

Healthcare-- Liz Martin, Vice President/Adminstrator--Riverside Tappahannock Hospital

Congressman Rob Wittman represents the First District of Virginia. He was elected to his first full term in November 2008 and serves on the Natural Resources Committee and the Armed Services Committee where he is the Ranking Member of the Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee.
