WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Congressman Rob Wittman penned a letter to Northrop Grumman President & CEO Wesley Bush, welcoming the Fortune 500 company's decision to move their headquarters to the National Capital Region. In the letter, Wittman notes that "the upper part of Virginia's First Congressional District contains many sensible locations that provide ideal proximity to your customers, the federal government, the Department of Defense and the intelligence agencies". Additionally, Wittman offered his support, and willingness "to help facilitate meetings or site visits with local elected officials and business leaders at any possible locations in Virginia". Dear Wes, I am pleased to hear Northrop Grumman will be moving its Corporate Headquarters to the National Capital Region. On behalf of the people of Virginia's First Congressional District, I would like welcome you and Northrop Grumman's employees to the region. Your decision to relocate here is exciting news for the region and the Commonwealth of Virginia. As you begin the selection process for a new headquarters location, please let me know if I can be of any assistance to you and your company.
