Today, these brave service men and women maintain this tradition in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and elsewhere around the globe. At a time when our Nation mourns the loss of 13 of our own at Ft. Hood in Texas, now more than ever should we take pause, remember those who have fallen, and thank all those who have honorably worn the Nation's uniform and recognize the continued support of their families."
