Should Congress get a summer vacation?

President Trump has called on Congress to cancel August recess if we don’t pass all 12 appropriations bills to fund our government. I couldn’t agree more!

In fact, for years I’ve introduced legislation to do just that. If we don’t fulfill one of our most basic responsibilities, there is no time for vacation. The American people want us to get the job done.
