White House Tours
Because of high demand, we recommend requesting tours at least 90 days in advance. The White House does not accept tour requests within 21 days. The White House is closed on Federal Holidays, and will assign you a time on one of the dates you choose. Tours of the White House are scheduled on a first come, first serve basis. The White House is the sole entity that grants permission or denial to a tour request. The White House is currently open for tours every week Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00am to 12:30pm. Up to 3 dates may be submitted per tour request.
Metro: Metro Center or Federal Triangle.
Your tour request will be submitted to the White House when it moves into the 90 day requesting window. Once the request is made to the White House, the point of contact will begin to receive correspondence about their tour. The White House will email the point of contact an RSVP Link through which they will need to submit every guest's secure information (names, date of birth, social security number, residence, and gender). The point of contact will have seven days to do this before the White House cancels your request. The point of contact will receive the approval or denial from the White House two weeks before the requested tour dates.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact my tour coordinator at (202) 225-4261.
