WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Rob Wittman (VA-01) had two pieces of legislation pass the House of Representatives as part of H.R. 729 - a larger package of ten bipartisan bills. The National Fish Habitat Conservation Through Partnerships Act and the Keep America's Waterfronts Working Act work to increase conservation of fish habitat and wetlands, as well as preserve our working waterfronts. FREDERICKSBURG – On December 13, 2019, Congressman Rob Wittman will host a Veterans Administration (VA) Fredericksburg Medical Facilities Briefing at VFW Post 3103 in Fredericksburg to provide clarification and a timeline for any and all clinics/facilities coming to the area.
WASHINGTON – Yesterday, Rep. Rob Wittman (VA-01) and Rep. Mike Thompson (CA-05) announced that their bill H.R. 925, the North American Wetlands Conservation Extension Act (NAWCA) has passed the House and is ready for consideration in the Senate. This bipartisan bill authorizes $60 million each year for habitat restoration and conservation projects nation-wide.

Elaine Luria (VA-02), a resolution designating the National Center of Excellence for research in coastal flooding and recurrent flooding, a partnership among Old Dominion University and William & Mary, including the Virginia Institute of Marine Science and the Virginia Coastal Policy Center at William & Mary Law School.
