However, the last few months have been completely dominated by a partisan impeachment process – causing legislating and productivity to come to a screeching halt. This week, the Senate voted to acquit President Trump of both articles of impeachment and I view this as a new beginning.

"Unhappy with the results of the 2016 election, Democrats have been working since before the election to build a case for impeachment against President Trump. This partisan impeachment process has finally come to an end, and it is clear – neither the Senate nor the American people believe there was adequate evidence to remove the president from office.
