Preparing and paying for college can be one of the biggest challenges that you and your child will face. The United States Department of Education administers federal education policies, including student loans. The below information is provided to help you prepare for this journey. 

How do I help my child prepare academically and/or financially for college?

I am often contacted by constituents who need emergency assistance. Below is a list of local government agencies and organizations that can help folks in need, including local Social Services offices. These offices administer federal, state, and local public assistance and social work service programs.

I am often contacted by constituents who need emergency assistance due to a crisis or natural disaster. It is absolutely vital to be prepared to take shelter from storms and flooding or to evacuate to safety during every hurricane season. Below is a list of state and federal government agencies and organizations that can help folks in need.

As of 12:01 a.m. on October 1, funding for many federal government operations has lapsed. I supported a package passed by the House that would extend current funding until November 21, 2025, but the proposal did not pass the Senate.



The Congressional App Challenge is an opportunity to recognize and encourage the STEM talent across the nation, as well as in our Congressional District. Each participating Member of Congress will name a winner to represent their district.
