WASHINGTON, D.C.  – Congressman Rob Wittman (VA-01) voted in support of the House passage of H.R. 9340, the Ratepayer Protection Act, bipartisan legislation he cosponsored to help protect families and small businesses from higher electricity costs associated with growing data center energy demand. 
The legislation would help ensure data centers cover the costs associated with their increased energy demand and necessary infrastructure upgrades rather than passing those costs on to ratepayers.
