Washington, D.C. - Congressman Rob Wittman (R-VA-1) and Congressman Gene Green (D-TX-29) today announced the formation of a new, bipartisan Congressional Public Health Caucus in the House of Representatives. The caucus will serve as a formal group of members whose mission is to raise awareness of the importance of public health issues, and will provide educational opportunities for Members of Congress and their staff.

Washington, D.C. - Congressman Rob Wittman (VA-1) was honored on March 21, 2015, with the Conservationist of the Year Award at the Ducks Unlimited state convention in Williamsburg. This recognition comes a week after Wittman received the 2015 Ducks Unlimited Wetland Conservation Achievement Award in the Federal Official category at the 80th North American Wildlife and Natural Resources Conference.

Our defense budget has already been hit with an unbalanced set of drastic cuts in recent years, and our military leaders have sounded the alarm that our force will be devastated if the sequester is allowed to take place.
