WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Rob Wittman (VA-01), Ranking Member of the Seapower and Projection Forces Subcommittee, commended the Navy on officially signing the contract for CVN 80 and 81, the next two Gerald R. Ford-class aircraft carriers. Congressman Wittman led the charge for this provision.

WASHINGTON – To continue his fight for Congressional accountability, Congressman Rob Wittman (VA-01) introduced HR 626, the No Congressional First Class Flights Act. This bill would prohibit Members of Congress from flying in first class on flights, and instead require they fly coach for official travel.
WASHINGTON – Congressman Rob Wittman (VA-01) is proud to announce that he will be a Co-Chair of the Rural Broadband Caucus for the 116th Congress. WASHINGTON – Congressman Wittman released this statement after supporting S. 24, the Government Employee Fair Treatment Act. This legislation is the comparable, Senate version of Rep. Don Beyer (VA-8-D) and Rep. Wittman's Federal Employee Retroactive Pay Fairness Act, which would ensure furloughed federal employees to receive back pay.
