WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Rob Wittman (VA-01) was appointed vice chairman of the House Natural Resources Committee for the 119th Congress. Congressman Wittman will continue to serve on both the Energy & Mineral Resources Subcommittee as well as the Water, Wildlife, & Fisheries Subcommittee.

WASHINGTON – Congressman Rob Wittman (R-VA-01) today announced the re-introduction of the Organ Donation Referral Improvement Act, a bipartisan effort co-led by Reps. Jennifer McClellan (D-VA-04), Jim Costa (D-CA-21), and Mariannette Miller-Meeks (R-IA-01). The legislation will study the implementation of automated software tools to improve and expedite the organ donation referral process.

Casework dollars are secured by advocating for constituents facing backlogs and bureaucratic delays with a federal agency, program, or benefit. The Office of Congressman Rob Wittman works to resolve issues ranging from Social Security and Medicare benefits to U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) claims and IRS tax refunds.

A family planning services's eligibility to receive federal grants or contracts through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) would be contingent upon providing this information.
