The PRO Act would eliminate states' right to work laws, violate workers' privacy by turning over their personal information to unions, and could create up to $47 billion in new costs for employers.
WASHINGTON – Yesterday, Congressmen Rob Wittman (R-VA-01) C.A. Dutch Ruppersberger (D-MD-2) introduced legislation to extend Section 3610 of the CARES Act to September 30, 2021. Important to national security and defense contracting companies, Section 3610 allows the government to reimburse federal contractors whose employees can't access federal facilities during the pandemic and can't telework due to the classified nature of their work.

"Since the beginning of the pandemic, I have been clear that any relief funding must be temporary, targeted, and directly tied to COVID-19. It should come as no surprise I voted against the Democrats' Partisan Reconciliation Package as it fails all three criteria.
