Friend- When Congress is not in session, Ispend my time traveling all across the First District visiting with folks, answering questions about what's going on in Washington, and making sure you get connected with my staff if you have a . On a given district work week, I hold frequent constituent forums, stop by businesses, and meet with local groups. While you can always keep up with me on my and pages, I thought I'd share with you some of the stops I made in the district during this week. |
Virginia has declared a state of emergency for Hurricane Florence expected to make landfall tomorrow. Parts of the First District fall in the path of the storm and will likely experience flooding, power outages, road closures, and other inclement weather.
