WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Rob Wittman (VA-1) today announced he has introduced legislation to bolster the structure of leadership at Arlington National Cemetery (ANC). Wittman's bill proposes the placement of a commissioned officer of the United States Military in charge of Army National Cemeteries, which includes ANC, to provide for greater accountability in the chain of command.

The office move will take place on Monday, May 13, 2013, and the office will re-open in the new temporary location on Wednesday, May 15. High school and middle school students, their parents, guidance counselors and interested citizens are invited to attend. Attendees will be provided a comprehensive overview of the United States service academies and their admission process. In addition, students will be able to meet with officials from the service academies.
