November in Photos

Monday, December 3, 2018

Friend-

I hope you and your family had a restful and blessed Thanksgiving. I know that I enjoyed reflecting back on all I had to be thankful for from this past year.

Earlier this month, I spent several days traveling across the district celebrating Veterans Day and honoring the sacrifices of our nation's heroes. Over Thanksgiving week, I got to spend time with our soldiers on the ground in Afghanistan. I had the opportunity to thank these soldiers for their service andsacrifice in defense of our freedom. Our delegation, including several other members of Congress, met with senior military and diplomatic leaders in the region to receive updates on continued anti-terrorism efforts.

Back home, I hadthe chance to discuss some of my other priorities across the district such as expanding broadband access and promoting economic development.

Take a look at what I was up to throughout the month below. I hope your November was just as filled with thanksgiving as mine was.
