Wittman to Host USPS Listening Session in James City County

Tuesday, April 2, 2019

WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Rob Wittman (VA-01) announced today that he will host a listening session with the United States Post Office (USPS) Richmond District Office in James City County. The event will give residents a chance to voice mail delivery and customer service concerns, as well as share their suggestions for improvement.

"Folks rely on the post office to conduct business, pay taxes and bills, receive important legal documents, and to complete countless other basic tasks, so it's absolutely critical to address taxpayers' concerns with the services they pay for," Wittman said. "I want to ensure my office is doing everything it can to resolve these issues. This listening session will give constituents in the region an opportunity to speak directly with the USPS, meet with caseworkers in my office, and receive important mail safety information. I'm looking forward to a productive conversation that results in tangible solutions for my constituents."

Congressman Wittman will be joined by caseworkers equipped to assist constituents onsite and officials from the USPS Richmond District Office. Officials include: Janice Atherly, District Manager; Benjamin Farmer, Marketing Manager; and Frances Kipper, District Communications Coordinator.
