Wittman Statement on the Loss of Virginia House of Delegates Clerk Bruce Jamerson

Washington, DC – Congressman Rob Wittman (VA-1), former representative of the 99th District in the Virginia House of Delegates, released the following statement following the passing of House of Delegates Clerk Bruce Jamerson:

"Bruce will forever be remembered for his unwavering dedication to the Commonwealth of Virginia," Wittman said. "I am honored to have worked with Bruce in the House of Delegates and mourn his passing. My heart goes out to his wife, his family and close friends. Instrumental in the renewal of the Capitol Building in Richmond, Bruce embodied public service as not a job, but a way of life. We will forever remember Bruce, how he lived his life with such vigor and love of service and country."
