Wittman Statement on Shooting at Marine Base Quantico

Montross, VA - Congressman Rob Wittman (VA-1) released the following statement upon the news of a fatal shooting at Marine Base Quantico:
"I am deeply saddened to hear of such senseless violence at a place where Marines train to selflessly defend our nation and our freedom. My sympathy and my prayers go out to the families of the victims, and the Quantico community."
Congressman Rob Wittman represents the First District of Virginia. He serves on the House Natural Resources Committee and the House Armed Services Committee where he is the Chairman of the Readiness Subcommittee.
