Wittman Congratulates Rep. Stefanik on Readiness Vice Chair Selection

WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Rob Wittman (VA-1), Chairman of the House Armed Services Readiness Subcommittee, released the following statement after Rep. Elise Stefanik (NY-21) was selected as Vice Chair of the Readiness Subcommittee:
"Rep. Stefanik will be a great addition to the Readiness team, and I congratulate her on her selection as Vice Chair. The condition of our military's readiness is at stake, and I am eager to work with Rep. Stefanik on behalf of our men and women in uniform."

Congressman Rob Wittman, who represents the 1st District of Virginia, has chaired the Readiness Subcommittee since 2013. Prior to that, he served as Chairman of the Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee. Wittman is also a member of the House Natural Resources Committee.
