February 24, 2009: Congressman Wittman and Sallie Mae Host College Workshop

(Warsaw, VA) - Congressman Rob Wittman and the Sallie Mae Fund, a nonprofit college-access organization, invite area students and parents to attend a free "Paying for College" workshop.

The 90-minute event allows families to learn about applying to and paying for college, including accessing grants, scholarships, and other financial aid; receive free planning and paying for college resources; have an opportunity to interact with local college experts; and enter junior or senior students to win a $500 scholarship from The Sallie Mae Fund.
