Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Serving you in Congress is a privilege I don’t take for granted, and I’m committed to handling this responsibility with the utmost seriousness. I want to share what I’ve been working on this year to make life easier for you. From addressing affordability to supporting our active-duty servicemembers and veterans, and securing critical funding for our communities, 2025 has been a busy year.

Since the beginning of the 119th Congress, I have introduced or co-sponsored 207 pieces of legislation. My legislative work this year focused on lowering the cost of living by expanding and extending tax policies, returning money back into the pockets of hardworking Virginians and Americans, broadening educational access, supporting our military, and much more.

I was proud to personally introduce 18 bills in the House of Representatives this year.

I take pride in my ability to work with folks across the aisle and seek to do so whenever I can. In Congress, we do our best work when we work together. This year, I was a co-sponsor of 143 bipartisan bills.

My bills, the Freedom to Invest in Tomorrow’s Workforce Act and the ACE Conservation Act, were signed into law this year. The Freedom to Invest in Tomorrow’s Workforce Act, included in H.R.1, allows individuals to use their 529 account funds to pay for post-secondary professional training and apprenticeship programs, expanding access to high-paying jobs. And the ACE Conservation Act is comprehensive legislation that will enhance the preservation of America's natural resources, wildlife, and habitats – including the Chesapeake Bay.

My $2 million funding request for Colonial Behavioral Health’s development of a new healthcare campus in Williamsburg was signed into law. This historic investment will transform the way they do care, bettering the lives of Virginians and ensuring quality, comprehensive health services.
Additionally, my $2.2 million funding request to construct shore power infrastructure for Virginia Class submarines at Naval Weapons Station (NWS) Yorktown was signed into law. Virginia Class submarines are critical to our national security and are the backbone of our undersea advantage over adversaries such as China and Russia. I look forward to seeing how these investments in our community will improve the lives of Virginians.
As we move into 2026, I want you to know that I remain committed to lowering the costs of living, healthcare, and energy; empowering small businesses; and supporting our nation’s military. I will continue to work with my colleagues to provide bipartisan solutions that create a meaningful difference in your life. I look forward to serving you in 2026.
My team is always ready and willing to answer your questions about legislation and policies impacting you. If you would like to share your ideas or get answers to your questions, click here to contact my office.
