The Administration, under the direction of President Trump and the White House, has been working tirelessly to help Virginians. Response and recovery efforts are locally executed, state managed, and federally supported. Successful emergency management requires nationwide cooperation and unity of effort, combining the strength and ingenuity of our citizens and private sector with a sweeping, all-inclusive, and whole-of-government response.

Implementation of the CARES Act, and the now the Paycheck Protection Program and Health Care Enhancement Act, will also bring additional support to Virginia. Due to the strong state-federal partnership with the Commonwealth of Virginia and President Trump, Vice President Pence, and the Administration, the Commonwealth has successfully started to slow the spread of COVID-19.
