Dear Friends and Neighbors, Have you filed your 2025 taxes yet? I want to point you to some historic benefits that may impact you this tax season. Last year, the standard deduction will be doubled. The Working Families Tax Cuts — legislation that I supported and that was signed into law last July — doubles the standard deduction to $31,500 for families and $15,750 for individuals. This will benefit 90% of American taxpayers. Americans are projected to receive the largest refunds in history. The average refund this tax season is expected to increase by $1,000 — putting more money directly into your wallet. Your paycheck belongs to you, not bureaucrats in Washington. The refunds made possible by the Working Families Tax Cuts aim to return more of your hard-earned money right back into your hands.  Additional Provisions:$6,000 tax deduction for seniors — $12,000 for couplesThe Working Families Tax Cuts were passed with you in mind. I appreciate the trust you’ve placed in me — and I take the responsibility of being your Representative in Congress very seriously.
