Washington, DC – Congressman Rob Wittman (VA-1) announced today he will host two town hall meetings next week focused on the federal budget. Wittman will host the first session Monday evening in Williamsburg, and will host a second session in Fredericksburg on Tuesday evening to provide an opportunity for residents across Virginia’s First Congressional District to participate. All residents of the First District are encouraged to attend. Both sessions will begin at 7 p.m. and will last 90 minutes.
“I am humbled to work in Washington, D.C. for the folks living in America’s First District, and it is important to hear from them directly,” Wittman said. “With these meetings, we will focus on one of the most critical issues facing this nation – the country’s fiscal future. Every effort must be made to get our economy moving again and get folks back to work. The federal budget directly impacts our economy now and into the future. I look forward to the input, and encourage folks to attend to add their voice to the discussion.”
