Weekly Update: How can I help?

Friend-

Without question the first and most important part of my job as a member of Congress is to serve you, my constituents. From cutting through the bureaucracy to arranging Capitol Tours, I want to do everything I can to provide the best service possible to my constituents.

In case you weren’t aware of all the the ways my office can provide assistance I wanted to highlight some of of those services for you.

Mobile Office Hours
Each day, my offices in Washington, D.C., Stafford, Tappahannock, and Hanover work hard to help constituents who need assistance with an issue related to a federal agency.

In order to provide assistance to residents who do not live near my district offices, I want to invite you to visit one of my satellite offices. Click here to view the locations and schedule.

Help With A Federal Agency
My staff and I frequently help people navigate issues they're having with federal agencies. Although I cannot override the decisions made by a federal agency, I can often intervene on a person's behalf to answer questions, find solutions, or just cut through the red tape.

Below are the topics that my office receives the most questions about from Constituents.

Service Academy Nominations
As your First District representative in the U.S. House, each year I have the privilege of nominating a limited number of people to four of the five service academies.
You can begin the application process on my website.

Visit DC, Tour Requests
Are you planning a visit to Washington, D.C.? My office can help you make arrangements for some of the popular federal attractions in our nation's capital.
Visit my website to complete a tour request form.

As always you can give any of my offices a call or visit my website should you need any help.

Please do not hesitate to contact me anytime an issue that concerns you comes before the House.

It's an honor to serve you and Virginia's First District in the People's House.
